The second friendly of pre-season is on Tuesday at the Park Stadium. I’m hoping to see a good turn out from Wittoners, there must have been 100 at Linnets.
I will warn you, after watching Winsford play there last Tuesday, it is £3 to get in. I think I might wait until 10 minutes after kick-off and walk in free… :silly:

News on the street is that matt wood isn’t at the game tonight because he has had a lot of interest from conf north Alty and has gone to meet them to discuss terms! I’m sure we will do all we can to keep him as per last year!! :whistle: :ohmy:
Shock horror there are going to be bigger clubs than us interested in some of our quality from last season but, yep, i’m sure we will do all we can to keep them. Not sure if WHS still realises it won’t be such a stroll through the league as he thinks though, andy carrol on the move, de silva to madrid or witton? “Delighted” with the squad? Lets be delighted with what we can keep hold of, some additions and see what happens :dry:
Good run out for the lads tonight. I liked the look of Tuck, very sharp in front of goal and isn’t afraid to get stuck in.
With Coo back and Connors I am sure we will not be too disrupted if we lose Woods, though I think he is mad to go, Alty are going nowhere but we are. As for Tuck, a superbly taken goal augurs well for the season, take note Matty.
