Marine v Fleetwood

Anyone going?

Considering it. I think there will be at least two members of the club in the stands, Messers Vince and Deeley may well be interested to watch this one. Could be interesting if we have some snow between now and then. Worse still it may be called off

Yes it features the two sides we play over Easter and I’m sure JV or Deel’s will be there

Its difficult because in one way I hope its off to pile up the Codpieces fixture list but in another way if Marine were to beat or draw with them it takes the heat off us again. I think I prefer the former because we really need to be motivated on Saturday. There is no way we can relax against Leek and I see they’ve signed on Walshaw from Ossett and a defender who’s quite well thought of. Walshaw and Briscoe up front could cause us problems and as Buxton only beat them 1 nil Saturday we definately need to be on our game. Canny bloke that Paul Ogden who I see is orchestrating them from the Assistant Managers position.

I am on line tonight working on my MA thesis so if anyone has the Marine-Fleetwood score I would love to hear it. Down with a chest infection, anti-biotics, the works, so not likely to be allowed out by the wife until later next week, and no booze either!!
WHS.

Not that it helps us, but Droylsden are one up against Northwich.

Marine down to 9 men!

1-0 fleetwood, not good news

Finished 1 - 0. The three points will be all that matter to Fleetwood, but I reckon that’s a rather poor show against 9 men for the vast majority of the game.

Just had word from the ground - finished 1-0.
Fleetwood v poor apparently.
Does this mean some Marine players will miss our match on Good Friday?

Can confirm off the FA website that both transgressors - Paul Woolcott and Peter Cumiskey are suspended from March 18th and will therefore miss our Good Friday match as a result of these sending-offs.
