Information when attending matches at Causeway Lane
Major construction work is being undertaken at Causeway Lane which has seen the demolition of the old changing rooms, seated stand, offices, boardroom and social club.
New development - this is expected to be completed by the 2nd quarter of 2010 and will consist of a two storey facility containing modern changing rooms, large social club and recreational room, 250-seater stand, boardroom, offices and other facilities.
Arrangements for 2009/10
Car parking - spaces will be reserved for the match officials and for one visiting team car which is carrying the kit. There will be no spaces available for directors or players cars within any area of the ground. The main public car parks are located just off Crown Square above Somerfields store, opposite the swimming baths (both accessed off Imperial Road) and behind the Town Hall – off Bank Road. For evening games cars are allowed to park facing the town centre along causeway lane from 7pm onwards.
Spectators – access will be as normal through the main gate, the new tea bar opened last year is fully operational and a small social club is available at the end of the stand on the causeway lane side of the ground.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused during this major project but staff will be on hand to assist you with any queries and we are sure you will be as excited as we are to see the new facilities next season. Yes we look forward to seeing them next year in the Unibond Prem!
