Looking forward to a big turnout for this game - nice drive down to Matlock on the first day of spring and return home with the 3pts.
Ste - don’t forget your drum !

Yes, happy memories of Matlock as it’s where we won the league last season…
Maybe the Barnet fans will turn up again ?
 Pitch at Causeway Lane is normally a shocker at this time of the season though!
N.B. A victory on Saturday and then a couple more wins from the remaining 7 games should see Witton safe regardless of what happens anywhere else between now and 25th April!
Anyone know any good pubs nearby?
There is a “Wetherspoons” type pub about 5 mins walk into the town centre and another pub slightly further on across the road, cant remember the name but it did have satellite tv if you want to watch whatever early game is on
Ta:)
…and there is a very good chippy a short walk down from the ground on the same side of the road. Mmmmmm chips!
Looking at the league table, the important thing today is not to get beat. Worksop in the position below us on the same points have played a game more and do not to play today. Buxton are two points behind us and have Eastwood Town visiting them today. A narrow Buxton win and a draw for us could still keep us 14th.
Whilst a win would be great a rare draw would be a good result for us and of course would limit Matlock to only a point. If we play like we did at home three weeks ago then we should win this but they are likely to be more of a test this afternoon.
Matlock are probably the most unpredictable side in this division at the moment, they beat FCUM at home, then lost to Buxton at home, but picked up a good point at Nantwich!
As I say, the main thing for us is not to get beaten as it will then not change our league position.
