They haven’t and they wouldn’t. The bar will be packed, so don’t worry about it.
Looking forward to the match - I hope you put out a full strength side to make it more interesting and meaningful. I believe we get a percentage of the gate money, so please charge £ 10.00.
I personally have no problems buying a few drinks at your place, wouldn’t be a complete match day experience without them!
Prediction against a full strength Witton? I will go 3-1 to you.
Absolute euphoria on their forum now that a date has been established!
On a separate note, I see that a few of their fans fancy ‘knocking up a stand’ at Winnington Rec and playing there. As a cricketer at Winnington, I nearly spat my tea out when I read that. Didn’t know they had a few spare million to buy the Rec? Laughable
To be fair to them its probably the biggest game in their (short) history, whether we have our first team out or reserves I hope we give them a good spanking! UTA

PMSL aswell :silly: mooney
Off the top of my head I would say our first competitive game last season, our final-day promotion-decider at Formby and our Vase trip to Bishop Auckland were all bigger and more important, but it’s nice to get the chance to pit ourselves against what for many fans (if not for the actual club) remains the biggest rival.
And it will be nice and neighbourly for us to be able to give your struggling finances a bit of an injection of income by bringing a decent-sized following.
Thanks Longham that’s very noble of you!
When do we play them?

The details of the Mid Cheshire senior Cup semi final v 1874 Northwich are as follows;

Tuesday 10 Feb
7.45pm

Concession £4
Great, I am back by then. Mr Sully, you should know that this game is the one to win, beat any version of Vics and the fans will forgive you almost anything. Play the best team you can regardless of league position and I for one will be happy with you and so will most other Wittoners.

We will meet Northwich Vics in the final after they beat Winsford 1-0 at Barton Stadium. Attendance was 95.
Nice one. Any idea of the date?
Vics have gone ahead and announced a date and a time but that hasn’t been confirmed by the MCDFA or by ourselves so that’s why Witton haven’t made any announcement.
We do things properly when it is 100% confirmed and hopefully we’ll have news soon.
Don’t forget these slimy green so and so’s have a manager and players they can’t possibly be affording…
Meanwhile, not so long ago…
Following successful discussions with H.M.R.C, the Football Club is very pleased to announce agreement was reached and the Club’s tax liabilities have been settled in full.
This means the H.M.R.C winding-up petition was dismissed in the high court earlier today (Monday).
Northwich Victoria F.C are now fully up to date with H.M.R.C - and the Football Club would like to thank it’s accountants Whalley Swarbrick and in particular, Greg for their hard work to reach a settlement.
We can now draw a line under this matter and move forward - concentrating on matters on the pitch as the first-team squad are currently in a rich vein of form under manager Jim Gannon’s tutelage - winning the last seven Evo-Stik NPL Division One North matches in succession, and currently sitting in second position in the League table. mooney

MCDFA now confirmed that final will take place on Tuesday 14 April 2015 ko 7.45pm at Witton Albion FC. Normal gate charges of Adults £10 and Cons £7 will apply.
