looks very impressive, maybe worth the club bidding, would look pretty good in the club museum!
W Sutton was the right full back who played for Witton in the final of the Cheshire FA Amateur Cup on March 26th 1898. He played in over 20 matches that season mainly in the half-back position. <br><br>We lost the final 0-2 against the Vics. On our way to the final we’d beaten:- Stockton Heath 13-0, Winsford Utd 3-0, Winnington Park 2-0 and Crewe Alex Res in the semi 3-1.<br><br>It would be nice to have the medal in the museum but I’m just wondering whether the bid price has been lifted buy the original caption depicting it to be an F.A. medal!<br><br>
