Merry Christmas to all fellow Wittoners. Hope for better 2016…
All the very best Derek, hope to see you soon in 2016.
Merry Christmas WHEELS have a good one, it could be a good year coming up for the Albs hopefully!
Merry Christmas to all. Have a good one!
Starting from tomorrow, it doesn’t care what the result is, but lets all get a bit more positive about OUR team and the great Wittoners that manage, support and administer OUR team!!
There were clear signs in our last game, that things are on the way up. Maybe not far enough “up” to get results against chart topping Northwich Vics and Warrington Town, but enough UP to give them some major problems.
If we come away from this weekend with 2 or 3 points, it will be a major achievement, but if we don’t, lets give them all OUR support before the games, and AFTER.
Carl and Gary came into the club at the time in a season when no other team is letting their best players leave their clubs. However, as the weather bites, and fixtures drop to just 1 per week, budgets start to bite, and some good players may start to become available.
Witton is OUR team, and nobody gets better with constant criticism. Things only improve with “POSITIVE SUPPORT”. Lets all give it to them this weekend and kick-off our bid to make a late bid for the play-offs.
I love this club, and have done since I became David Leathers assistant back in 1990. Lets all support it, and stop knocking what we all love.
I agree whole heartedly with thatched tavern and we all should get there today to cheer them on, hope fully the game will be on. See and hear you there. UTA
Well said TT. I have been supporting this club since 66 when my Dad took us down aged 6( thats me and my brother , not me dad), I love the people here and have nothing but gratitude for the guys and girls who put their time and effort into supporting our club. I wish I could give more time to help out but work and family prevent this. I WILL not criticise anyone who puts in there spare time and effort in the running of WAFC, Over the years there have been good and bad times, but we all stick together, yes we all would like a successful team winning every game , I don’t begrudge people having a moan about a bad performance, they have every every right to do so, and that can generate a healthy discussion , I don’t understand the attitude of, I’m not supporting my team because their shit and not winning, I would of thought the team needs your support even more through the lean times, but maybe I’m old fashioned that way, but win or lose ill keep coming and I believe this team we are assembling( and the off field work being done, well done Alex and Noel and all the others who give up their time ) could provide the stepping stones for a brighter future for Witton Albion FC , the next 2 games will show how much we have improved, we may not win them but if the guys show the effort and togetherness of last week then you never know, heres to a Happier New year …Hopefully !!
