Mickleover FC vs Witton Albion Academy.

Witton’s Academy team are in action on Thursday afternoon when they travel to Mickleover FC in an ESP Football Academy Northern Division fixture.

Derbyshire has become a regular destination for Witton teams in the past week with the Academy team drawing with Belper Town last week and then the first team’s trip to Mickleover at the weekend but with different fortunes in the games.

The return fixture at the U Lock It Stadium earlier in the campaign saw the Derbyshire side come out on top following a 3-1 victory with Jake Tyson netting Albion’s consolation.

Last week’s game against Belper Town saw a tremendous fightback in the second half, recovering from two goals down and also having conceded more or less straight from the kick off when they had played very well and perhaps deserved more than the one point.

Witton can take positives from that performance and can hopefully build on that as they look to gain their first victory of the season.

Kick off at The Don Amott Arena is 12pm.
