Mickleover Sports vs Witton Albion (ILC3).

Witton will hopefully be able to get their long-awaited Integro League Cup Third Round tie out of the way on Tuesday night, when they travel to Mickleover Sports. The fixture being re arranged for the second or even third time but, it will be finished on the night. Albion make their second visit to The Don Arnott Arena of the season after opening their Premier Division campaign against the same opponents, a game which saw them come away with a point. They go into the game unbeaten away from home in all competitions since October last year so will take confidence from that, as they look to progress through to the Quarter Finals. Mickleover will also have the same ambitions and a difficult game can be expected. Should the game be drawn after normal time, the tie will be decided on penalties. Kick off at The Don Arnott Arena is 7.45pm.

I hope we will put out a very strong team. I know we still have an outside chance of a play off spot but it is only an outside chance and I don’t think three extra games in this competition will make too much difference. It may not be the most glamorous of competitions but winning it is better than not winning it. Witton Albion should win trophies, whatever they are.

I totally agree and I’m sure the management team will do whatever they feel is necessary, as it is a cup competition which we are more than capable of winning.

I agree, we should put out a strong team. It is about time we actually won a trophy, so let’s go for it. UTA

I would imagine Carl will play all the lads who were on the bench on saturday they are good players and need a game after returning from injury but we should still be strong. UTA
