WITTON will face Congleton Town in the final of the Mid Cheshire FA Senior Cup.
The North West Counties Division One outfit edged out Runcorn Linnets after extra time last night, Tuesday.
They will now face Albion at the Brittania Carpets Stadium in the final, date to be arranged.
Town fought back twice to force an extra half hour.
Scott Williams grabbed a last-gasp goal in the 88th minute to make it 2-2, before notching the winner at the end of the first half of extra time.
Picko are you a mind reader, or did this match take place last night??? ???

Am I right in thinking that our reserves have already played in this competition losing to Runcorn?
Therefore we can’t play our reserve side in the final.

Yes that’s right. Poor foresight on our part i think that one!!
I also think Gaghan,. Henricks, Foy, and a couple of others played for the reserves aswell.
You could count me in for that one ;D ;D

Count me out, I get breathless just walking around the ground at half time.

Why not make it ?100 per player for the starting 11, ?50 for substitutes…theres over a grands worth of income in one night, without the gate, bar and programme money etc…
