Albion played Middlewich, for the very first recorded time in pre-season, as a thank you part of the deal that had taken midfield player Mark Jones to Witton last season.<br><br>It was a very experimental line-up that took the field and amongst the players was the very experienced right-back Chris Adams who had just been released by Altrincham.
