Mike Moseley

Just seen on Twitter that the legend that is Michael Moseley is stepping down as assistant manager.

Thank you for everything you have done for this club, Mike. Just a pity we never got to see you break the goal scoring record.

sad to hear that mike is leaving, but wish him all the best for his future. would just like to thank him for his efforts as a player and for his role in the management. a true witton legend never to be forgotten, and a stoic witton supporter.

All the best Mike in whatever you do next.

Top bloke

Very, very sad to hear this news. Wish Mike (and his lovely family) all the very best for the future!!!

Witton legend! Gutted you’re leaving Mike. Hope to still see you down at WP. :clap

Mike has been a great servant to the Club over the years, and an outstanding ambasador.

I don’t think it will be a case of him stepping away from the Club completely.

Apart from his Vice President role, i believe he has also offered to be available if Pritch needs any help with training or if we are ever short of players.

I expect we will still see his Mum and Dad around too.

Fully understand his reasons for stepping down though, and great gesture by the Club in making hima VP.

Also worht congratulating Sheenz on the step up to Assistant Manager. I think this is a very astute move by Pritch, and i expect that the transition will be seamless.

As sad as it is to see Mike go, there are still plenty of positives to take from this.

Thanks again Mike for all you have done for the Club thus far, and we’ll see you in the next supporters game

Good luck Mike and Sheenz.

I hope we have Mike’s mum and dad on contract with an option, and Barbara Harrison with a 5 year deal !.

Very sad to see Mike step down, however circumstances always dictate, he has, and will no doubt continue to be a great asset to our/his club.
Thanks Mike

Thanks for everything mike bowdown bowdown bowdown

Quite simply a TRUE WITTONER! :clap :clap :clap We will miss you Mike and we will miss the goals too.

WHYYYYYYYY!!! Super Mike gone NOOOOOOOOO!!! Flookin Leg-end!!

Would not be at all surprised if he does a “Pritch”. He packed it in, went shopping with his wife on a Saturday instead and the following week was playing again!!

A great player, a great club man and a lovely guy. If we hadn’t lost him for those years when he was elsewhere, I’m sure he’d have put the goalscoring record out of reach maybe forever!

Dean Crowe, Tony Evans, Kevin Rapley…or Moseley.

Did those 3 players score more than about 4 or 5 goals between them all season?

Had we kept Mike not only might he have broken the record, but those goals may have made the difference in us beating Fleetwood to the title.

Unless he’d have been presented with an open goal six yards out…

Absolute legend and easily one of my favourite players. All the best Mike!

I don’t know about Mike but I am missing watching the Albs play. Watching England is a poor substitute for watching what I consider the only real football in this country; every professional league is stuffed with foreign players making it a farce to call it “English” or even “British” football. Come back Witton as soon as you can!!
