Morpeth Town vs Witton Albion.

Witton are on the road again when they make their longest trip league-wise with a trip to Morpeth Town in a Northern Premier League fixture.

Boosted by their excellent result at Scarborough Athletic last weekend in the Emirates FA Challenge Cup, Witton can go to Northumberland in confident mood, as they seek their first league win of the season.

The two sides have only met once before and it turned out to be an incident-packed encounter with the Highwaymen coming out on top in a five-goal thriller.

Morpeth currently sit one place and one point better off than Witton but the return to action of Danny McKenna & Rob Hopley respectively, renewed confidence can only be a good thing and the arrival of striker Callum Saunders, will certainly give them more attacking options.

Hopefully, we will also see the return of Josh Wardle who has been a big miss for the team although the replacements have coped admirably in his absence and then there is still Will Jones and Isaac Baldwin as well to give the management team a full squad to choose from before too long.

With both teams currently at the wrong end of the table and battling for points, a tough and possibly a tight game is a possibility and hopefully Albion will this time be on the right end of the result.

Kick off at Craik Park is 3pm.
