Admission Prices confirmed as follows:

Witton look to extend their unbeaten run to four games in all competitions when they travel to Mossley AFC on Saturday afternoon in a Northern Premier League West Division fixture.

Since losing to Nantwich Town at the U Lock It Stadium, Jon Macken’s team have put together a run of three wins including away successes at Chasetown and then also ending the Dabbers involvement in the Cheshire Senior Cup.

Mossley find themselves in eleventh place in the table going into the game, but victory for the Albion would see them leap above their opponents in what will prove to be another difficult test for them.

The form of striker Connor Hughes in recent weeks has been pivotal to Witton’s improvement, particularly at a time when the striking options are missing the experience of Tom Pope.

Mossley have played seven league games at Seel Park so far, winning four whilst losing the other three.

Witton will be looking to complete the league double over the Lilywhites following a 2-1 success in the return fixture at the U Lock It Stadium in August.

Last season’s meetings saw Mossley come out on top as they took four points off the Albion, a 2-0 win at the U Lock It Stadium followed by a 1-1 draw at Seel Park later in the campaign.

Witton face a tough challenge as they usually do against Mossley but they will be hoping to continue their recent upturn in form.

Kick off at TotalRope Solutions Seel Park is 3pm.

The unbeaten run stretches to four games. We are next in action on SATURDAY, 23rd DECEMBER when we welcome Vauxhall Motors to the U Lock It Stadium for a 3pm kick off.

Well not a bad point away but after scoring a superb free kick by Matt Lowton and taking a deserved lead despite being a bit of our best form!

But to gift them an equaliser like that was unbelievable, a simple ball over the top left Hitchcox to clear with a simple enough looking header. However he choose to head it firmly over the oncoming Martin and into the path of the Mossley centre forward to tap into an empty net.

We were not at our best, losing possession too easily and not much of a threat up top.

Need to pick up 6 points from our next 2 games. UTA

I would have taken that before kick off but feel disappointed due to the way we conceded.

We are certainly looking more solid than a few weeks ago and thought we were the better side today.

Pitch didn’t help with our style of football.

I was also a bit disappointed with the result yesterday conceding an easy goal for Mossley but, a draw is acceptable away.

I must say I can see the quality in Matt Lowton some of his crossing into the box is amazing, his free kick for the goal is one of the best I have seen pure league football quality.
