Much needed Help.Required

This is just a plea to all supporters who may have a spare hour or so to give a lift to some of the guys and girls , who are doing there upmost to upgrade the social club,at the time of posting Graham is down there now painting , he requested some help , and has had a very luke warm response . Everyones got an excuse i know, but it would be an enormous help and gratefully recieved if only 2 or 3 guys or girls came to share the load .
The facilities are becoming excellent and a very good reputation is being made around the non league world .These have been provided by several people to bring the club into the 21st century , Its your club, your facilities, surely somebody out of all the supporters there can use a paint brush or know someone that does.

Thanks for that Trev, I didn’t actually manage to get much painting done today I was trying to sort out the stage lighting.

In terms of help there is lots of painting required over the next 5 days before next saturdays home game. That day we have some very improtant guests coming down which I’m sure will be announced soon.

If anyone can offer help this week that would be great.

I will be looking at being there everyday between 10am and 2pm and if we have enough people possible Tuesday evening

Thanks

Over 130 viewed my message regarding giving Graham a hand and guess what , noone helped.
It really has suprised me that its left to the small few who organize events etc.
Come on everyone there must be someone out there who can spare an hour or so just to give him a hand to paint a wall or hold the ladder while he sorts out the LCD projector. The club would really like this phase of the refurbishment done for this coming Saturday. Again it would be very much appreciated Contact him via here or just turn up at the club 10am -2pm between now and Thursday, Graham will confirm though.

TWS, would love to assist and the fact I can’t is not through lack of interest! Down to London at the crack of sparrow in the morning, back late Wednesday hopefully in time for the game and minimum 10 hour days on Thursday and Friday. I suspect like many others that despite a willingness to get involved time is not that easy, especially during the week.

The first I learnt of this was late on Sunday afternoon, had it have been posted sooner, put on the official site, sent an appeal out to the email mailing list or announced at the last home game then perhaps those things might have helped drum up support.

I am full of admiration for Sprucey, Pete, Neil, Graham and countless others that put time in. Indeed given the opportunity I would be delighted to do even more. It is however impossible to do anything from 10.00-2.00 on a weekday when sadly work commitments don’t permit.

Hopefully your posts will help to generate some input but sadly this week that won’t be from me. That said if anyone fancies a trip to b*****y London on my behalf then I will gladly swap for a paintbrush
