So they have decided to buy into Ebbsfleet rather than Vics…

There is a discussion on the BBC 606 boards about it at the moment, where i came accross this;

I liked this idea from the start, but the trepidation of many others about how this whole thing would be run made me sceptible about signing up for it.

Ebbsfleet aren’t a bad team…can see them in League Football in a year or two, so the investment by all of the donators will pay dividends were they to get to the play-offs.

Personally, I’d have loved to have taken over Witton Albion…riding high at the top of the league, great squad, great fans, brilliant stadium.

Of course, that is a bit biased…but in a couple of seasons, mark my words Witton Albion WILL be in the Conference at least [/i]

I’ve got a share in MyFootballClub. It will certainly be interesting to see how it all pans out - and I’m bloody glad we didn’t buy Vics!!!

Everyone knows that putting money into Vics is not a good investment!!! :wink:

mr connetts, not done so badly out of it. ;D ;D ;D

I can’t believe anyone would put money into this venture. It smacks of the plastic sky’ised version of football thats out there.

If all these ‘concerned genuine football supporters(luvvies)’ invested there £35 pounds into their local football team they’d get so much more enjoyment and local football teams would be delighted to receive there monies and more importantly their SUPPORT.

i don’t know much about this however, it seems to me that Ebbsfleet may become more of a gameshow than a fotball club.
