Witton slip to 15th in the table and the highest we can finish now is 13th.
The season ends on Saturday when we welcome Atherton Collieries to the U Lock It Stadium for a 3pm kick off.
Terrible day out sadly put out a weak team (why for gods sake), got soundly thumped in a derby game.
Missed Graham’s physicality badly and the incoming players did nothing to be on the retained list which I suspect will a pretty short one anyway.
If we run an 18 man squad next season given that 3 of the better ones are loanees, I’d may be looking to keep only 6-7 at best!
A big summer rebuild needed if we want to make any sort of challenge.
Really disappointed with this performance, I presume Ben was looking at some players with a view to the retain list?
We definitely need an input of quality players next season let’s hope Ben can find them.
