Witton’s penultimate game of the season takes them to Cheshire rivals Nantwich Town on Easter Monday.
The game has no bearing on the season for either team, apart from finishing the campaign in a positive manner and final league positions.
The Dabbers have held the upper hand in recent meetings between the two, winning seven of the last nine although Witton have the chance to complete the double over their opponents having won the game at the U Lock It Stadium earlier in the season.
Boxing Day saw Albion secure a 2-0 win with goals from Nick Hepple and Joel Bailey in front of a crowd of over 600, a game which also saw former Albion striker Callum Saunders dismissed right on half time.
The Dabbers go into the game in eleventh place in the table, two places and three points better off than Witton so a difficult game for both teams.
Nantwich’s last game saw them gain a point in a goalless draw at title-chasing Widnes on Saturday but previously to that, they put six past relegated Hanley Town with aforementioned Callum Saunders grabbing a hat-trick and top scorer Kai Evans netting twice.
The game also pits Albion manager Ben Harrison against one of his former clubs so he will be looking to get the better of his former employers.
Also in the Witton squad are defender Josh Langley, midfielders Max Harrop and James Lawrie with Mike Koral, who have all worn the colours of both clubs.
As the season draws to a close, there have been some good games and performances but there have also been disappointments but that’s what happens in football.
Kick off at The Swansway Stadium is 3pm.
