A quick turnaround for Witton as they travel to Nantwich Town on Bank Holiday Monday, just two days after the long trip to Morpeth at the weekend.
Ben Harrison’s team have an excellent record against the Dabbers in recent years, winning four of the last six games including the league double last season.
Witton go into the game in seventh place in the table, one of the play offs spots since the system was expanded whilst Nantwich find themselves at the wrong end of the table and awaiting their first win of the season.
Two draws and a defeat from their opening three league games is disappointing, but the season has a long way to go and they will be looking to put a run together in order to climb the table.
The Dabbers FA Cup hopes ended at the very first hurdle, losing to Sporting Khalsa on penalties after a replay but they have progressed in the FA Trophy after overcoming Boston Town at the weekend.
There are likely to be a number of players on both sides who have worn the colours of both teams over the years so that can add something to the game, although meetings between the two have proved to be fiercely contested in the past.
Witton manager Ben Harrison has also worn the green of Nantwich as well as the red and white stripes, along with goalkeeper Cameron Terry and midfielder James Lawrie.
Nantwich have wing back James Baillie and striker Callum Saunders who have also appeared in red and white in the past while another familiar face to both clubs, Josh Hancock has returned for another spell.
Witton will be looking to carry on in their recent good league form but the Dabbers will make it difficult for them so the result will have to be earned.

Directions: From Mid Cheshire(Middlewich): If coming Southbound on the A530 from Middlewich, you will reach the Alvaston roundabout on the outskirts of Nantwich. Take the 2nd exit sign posted Nantwich Town Centre. Head straight on at the next roundabout and after 0.5 miles, you will reach a t-junction. Turn left at the junction and after another 0.3 miles, you will reach another set of lights. Turn right at the lights and follow that road through the town centre. You will reach another set of traffic lights. Turn right there and you will see the stadium ahead of you on the right. (Total Distance - 16.6 miles).
Parking: There are a limited number of car parking spaces at the ground. You are advised to arrive early as these can go quickly, especially for the more popular games. There is also a nearby long stay car park at the local swimming baths and it is advisable to park there should there be no space at the ground. It costs £2.10 for 2-4 hours and £2.90 for up to 10 hours, so offers a cheap and well located place to leave your car, with the ground and the town centre in easy walking distance. For evening games, this car park will be free from 6pm.
Admission is by way of Card or cash payments at the turnstiles. Card payments are also accepted inside the social club and around the stadium.

Refreshments: Food, Hot and cold drinks & snacks are available from the Tea Bar within the main stand.
Disabled Facilities: There is a viewing area to the left of the main stand - a raised area accessible by ramps.

Fantastic win today, a really solid performance from everyone and a clean sheet as well, It’s difficult to find MOM but I would give it to Jacob for his outstanding goal.
