Nantwich Town vs Witton Albion.

Witton make the short journey to Cheshire rivals Nantwich Town on Saturday afternoon in an Evo-Stik Premier Division fixture. The Dabbers have struggled for league form this season and go into the game in 22nd place in the table. They appointed Dave Cooke as manager following Phil Parkinson 's departure to Altrincham at the start of the campaign and have had to rebuild after a host of last season’s playing squad moved on, the majority of them following the out-going boss to Moss Lane. Despite their poor showing in the league, they have made excellent progress in the Emirates FA Challenge Cup and have an away trip to Stevenage to look forward to following an exceptional result at Kettering Town in a midweek replay. The fixture is the first league meeting between the two clubs since the 2014/15 season when The Dabbers overcame Witton comfortably towards the end of a season which ended with relegation for the Albion. Witton go into the game having rediscovered a bit of form and will be looking to continue the progress which has seen them rise back towards the top places in the table. Nantwich will be looking to improve their league position and a tough encounter can be expected. Kick off at The Weaver Stadium is 3pm.

This will be a tough test for us, No Prince or Matty probably ! I would be tempted to go with our 4-3-3 team :

Hare
Gards, Brown Ryan, McKenna
Hedley, Owens, Foley
Tames, Hopley, Jones

Carl may choose 4-4-2, with Williams in for possibly Jones .

Good luck whoever gets selected and UTA

We have the players to win this regardless of formation. Me? I am still struggling with the bloody Shingles! Whatever you do, if you have had Chicken Pox get a Shingles inoculation, Shingle is the most painful thing I have ever had and it does not go away quickly. (Bit like me!!)

Had a nightmare of the 3-0 stuffing we got there a few years back when Sully was in charge and we went down that season. More confident of result today but its going to be a tough one particularly without Prince and Devine if he’s not fit. Anyway all the best lads UTA
