Nantwich Town

See the Dabbers fans are adopting another shires look if it’s on in wearing flat caps for the game!

Nantwich have still got fans? I thought they all left after they stopped getting promoted.

Either that, or they signed a very good striker and all the fans stopped coming to games?

On a serious note, with the weather today tomorrow is looking like another wash out.

It doesn’t take a genius to work out that we therefore have not had any income for several weeks now.

In the meantime we still have to pay our bills.

The maths just doesn’t add up.

Bad time of the year for people to make donations i know, but anyone who can afford to then i’m sure the club would very much appreciate it.

Or why not make a purchase from the online store?

The club desperately needs some money to get us through this period without a home game.

According to the forecast, they’ll be more rain this afternoon but not tomorrow. Hoping my weather skills are better than Mookie’s…

Any update on how the pitch is looking?

Both wings are heavy with the rest of the pitch soft. There is a 20x20 area on the popular side, wincham goal end that is of concern. There is a blocked/collapsed drain causing the area not to drain and due to the continued poor weather we have not been able to repair the problem. The next 12 hours are crucial and we do have covers on(which only have limited help)and water hog at hand, but the local brook(where our pitch water drains to) is high and the water coming off the pitch is sitting longer than normal as it backs up. Not sure if volunteers are required in the morning, hopefully someone else can advise on that. 2013 let’s go!
