The Board of Witton Albion are pleased to announce the appointment of Gareth Walton to a newly formed role of Operations Manager.
After two very successful seasons developing the stewarding team and working with Alan Jackson to build the junior ball assistant experience on matchdays, we have asked Gareth to assume a wider brief.
Gareth will be responsible for co ordinating communications, overseeing and managing all aspects of the operations of the club.
He is particularly keen to engage with the Witton Albion fans, staff, volunteers, families, juniors and sponsors to hear about ideas for improvement and where practical, to bring these to life.
Former Head Steward Ian Stanley has accepted the role of Head Steward again and we are very grateful to him for his unwavering professionalism and commitment.
