Having been thrown in to do the tannoy the other day it struck me that we don’t have a regular track as the teams walk on to the pitch and perhaps we should.
Been thinking of a few this afternoon;
Charlatans - One to Another, The Only One I Know, Sproston Green or Forever (could be a worthy selection to use the local lads)!
Fatboy Slim - Right Here Right Now
Pendulum - Propane Nightmares (bit of a classic)!
Planet Funk - Chase The Sun (best known from the premier league darts on Sky)
Darude - Sandstorm
U2 - Desire
Theme from the A-Team!
After watching league 1 football for a while and only recently getting back to watching witton i still find it strange that the teams dont get applauded onto the pitch! it seems strange that our lads come out to silence apart from background music at home games yet lots of away games we cheer the lads on the pitch  maybe if one starts applauding it may spread round the ground so im gonna make it my mission to clap the team out home and away as long as im out of the clubhouse in time!!
As for music to run out to i have a few to throw in the hat…
robbie williams…let me entertain you
fanfare for the common man by emmerson lake and palmer (i think?)
eric pridze…pyjano
Still can’t beat “Also Sprach Zarathustra” By Richard Strauss [Theme from 2001 Space oddysey] or
"Ride Of The Valkyries] by Wagner [Theme from Apocalypse Now].
Real rousing music but then there is always “Pump It” by Black Eyed Peas !!
Something rousing with a good thumping beat that the fans could clap along to. What about “Hi Ho Silver Lining” by Jeff Beck - we could even sing along to the chorus:
“And it’s Hi Ho Witton Albion, and away we go,
now baby,
Come on you Witton Albion,
You’re gonna win for us - yes it’s obvious”
