See we have missed out on a " plum " Christmas fixture with Chester to AFC Fylde. What sort of derby fixture is that ?

Huge anti-climax.

The Wire away on New Years Day,bloody hell.

Chester at home on a wet Wednesday night in October, forced to be played behind closed doors.

Get Harris out now he has not used his influence one jot.

Only jesting,Mark will man the bridge and navigate this majestic warship across the Northern choppy waters.

I have consumed a couple of cans of Special Brew and the nautical theme went straight to my head, must apologise.

Don’t care when we play anyone, as long as we beat them!!
WHS.

I was given to understand that NOONE would be playing Chester on the Xmas and Easter dates, because every team was already required to make their selections PRIOR to the promotion of Chester through two divisions.

I have now written to Graham Shuttleworth on the supporters behalf to seek clarification as to why Chester are now playing Fylde and Prescot away on those dates. There is obviously no saying that we would have been a preferred opponent, other than the obvious geography!

I asked this question. You don’t HAVE to pick your oponents for these dates but the facility is there to come to an agreement beforehand, the logical explanation would be that neither Prescott or Fylde had made such agreements - so we have been let down a bit by being too organised! that must be a first for us…

We have the ground best able to cope with a bumper following of Chester fans on a Bank Holiday.
Sadly typical of the league to send them to Prescot instead and assign them to us on an October midweek.

Not wishing any trouble on Fylde or Prescot but if there is disruption at those games the league need to take a look at themselves.

I agree it really is difficult to understand those Chester F.C fixtures, someone ought to stand up and take responsibilty for that nonsense!!
