Signed a permanent contract with Fleetwood Town on the eve of the 2008/09 Blue Square North season. Formerly a regular in the Morecambe reserves. Teenager who also represented Lancashre FA at youth level.
Ashley signed and trained with us last night.
He is on a one month loan deal.
Papers just come through from the FA, so he is eligible to play tomorrow.
So it’s a Dunn deal then!
I hope he is as good as Terry Dunn, now sadly no longer with us but remembered by many as a great player and a great fella. I was proud to call him my cousin.

Just to keep you informed, Ashley was recalled by Fleetwood and played for them against Workington. However he is now back at Witton for a 2nd month being registered yesterday afternoon.
