What does everyone want to see in a new manager? Aside from the pre requisites of non league experience, good contacts and ability to work on a tight budget for me it’s
Attacking style of play mindset
Passion for the game and the club
Close and open to the fans
Surely we need Jurgen! Will our budget stretch that far?
Definitely not Jurgen!
Would be good to see a younger manager given a chance, with modern ideas of how the game should be played.
According to SM Jon Macken has left Colne ?
Graham Wood, acting Chairman of Witton Albion, has issued the following statement following the appointment of Jon Macken as Manager for the club.
“The Board at Witton Albion are pleased to announce the appointment of Jon Macken as our new Manager"

Means, PRINCE could be back!
Welcome to the club Jon UTA
Not posted on here for a long time. A new chapter begins welcome to our club Jon, really looking forward to next season now! Really don’t believe the silence on here and some shite posts like Prince might return rather than welcome Jon??? UTA
Welcome Jon. We can now get ready for the new season with optimism. UTA
Jon gave his first interview with Karl Brooks on Radio Northwich on the Friday Sports Social last night. Brief but full of hope for the season ahead and the future plans for the squad and management team.
We can expect a rebuilding of the playing squad and additions to the management team in the coming weeks.

YOU have been dead a long time ELVIS. I happen to rate Prince, like Jon does! You can have your opinion & I will have mine, all the managers at this level take their players with them. I for one will be pleased if Prince returns, I’m not bothered what YOU think!
Welcome aboard Jon, all the best for the coming season.
If you missed it, here is our new Manager talking to Mike Wain from Silk106.9
Many thanks to Silk106.9 - excellent interview. https://t.co/TbwobgMM3E via @FacebookWatch
Good interview, Jon calls for patience as the new squad starts to bed in and rightly so. This will be a tough division with Macc, Runcorn and Workington battling it out for promotion.
