But it took the signing of Cantona to make it all happen WHS !
Who needs Cantona when we have Pritch!!

Looking forward to the friendlys and the new season. All you red and whites need not worry the young players won’t let you down. Its not in their nature! It promises to be an exciting season.
Reported on the Official website that within the last 40 minutes or so 19 year old Josh Hancock has completed his move from Winsford United. Welcome to Wincham Park, Josh.
Welcome Josh!
This lad could be a good asset, only hear good things about him. To sign a good young local goalscorer could be just the kind of player we need in the side and I’m sure Josh will receive a good welcome from all.
He’s a Tottenham fan!!!
Well that’s a plus, he knows good football when hec sees it!!
WHS.
We will forgive him being a cockrel if he gets us 20 goals this season, nice to hear the positive reports on him, really looking forwrd to the first friendly even though I hate the jumble of using 20 plus playerrs in a match you leasrn very little imo better to use 14 or so in one match and bring in new players for the next, you have to see a player over 90 minutes to really judge him and preferably over several games.
Terry,Johnson,Upson call them defenders !
Get IAN KEARNEY in !
and some call rooney a striker ! any way back on thread what happened to macallister ? has he gone
let’s get behind the new players from the start, after all they have shown commitment to witton by signing for us. if we, the fans give them the encouragement they surely want, then they will recipricate and put the passion in for us that we want. who knows with the experienced players we have got and anew youthful team, we will be onto bigger and better times. COME ON YOU REDS
I totally agree with CJ and albion forever, our manager needs to see the players for an extended period before he can make a measured judgement but I am not sure he will have the time before the season is upon us, as for getting behind the lads old and new, could not agree more.

Concur with what everyone seems to be saying in here. Yes we have a young team with local players and not many real non league stars. Where did it get us last season with Foster, Ruffer, Maylett and other so called stars!! At least by the sound of it these lads really want to play for us and coupled with a manager who knows what he is doing I’m sure we’ll get 100% effort and maybe even do well. I think its a team for the future too but I would like to think that if we were say one experienced player short that we could get that missing link in. Ian Kearney’s name was mentioned and he’s a good lad would n’t grumble if he came back, but overall I’m happy with the way things are going on the playing side.
Onward and Upward looking forward to the season now with heightened enthusiasm in view of events in South Africa!!
