Speaking to a few Wittoner’s about their thoughts on where we will finish in the league, there is a wide difference in opinions, Mid table, relegation and going bust, typical Wittoner’s optimism.
Well Im going for a top 5 finish. What do you think ?
Personally, I’d hope for a promotion place…
But it depends on the players Gary brings in etc… so its a bit too early to say without either being pessimistic or expecting too much.

We have to go into the season with the intention of winning the league!
There is a difference between ‘intention’ and ‘expectation’, games at this level are not going to be easy and we could be in for a few scraps along the way.
We have to focus our attention on building the best side we can, within our means, with the desire to get out of this league at the first time of asking.
If we sign the 2 names I have heard I am afraid we are going nowhere !
We will have this poxy league won by march, draw v**s in the FA cup and stuff em 26-0 and probably get knocked out at chelsea in the 3rd round:unsure:

The prospect of ‘what might happen’ is one of the main reasons for supporting a football club and why people enjoy the game.
Yes we are not going to win the FA Cup (or for that matter the FA Trophy) but we should have a damn good go at getting as far as we can in these competitions and clearly look to get promoted if we can. Inevitably we are working off a lower budget but there are not many big spending teams in the Unibond South. With good coaching and a good team spirit we can triumph.
We have a planned a good pre-season campaign and Gary had the players starting to train at the end of June.
Eli, regards the names you may have heard there are also a few good ones that can certainly do a job, all will be revealed once signatures are on forms. The good news is that we are only in the first week of July and there are already a few movements starting to happen. Unfortunately relegation means that like last season we are almost ‘starting again’ on assembling the right squad, but unlike last year we have plenty of time to do it and a manager who knows the league very well from recent experience.
Let’s do all we can to support the process and roll on August 15th.
