This morning (10:10am) we have signed Nickolas James Linford, a 20 year old midfielder from Nantwich Town.
I like the fact that we are signing young lads not old, though experienced players. It may take time for the young ones to settle in but the chances are they will be desperate to impress rather than just going through the motions as older players are likely to do. They are also less likely to have bad habits that Mr. Deeley would have difficulty coaching out of them. ONWARDS AND UPWARDS (hopefully).

Yes Alan, you are quite right. These players are young, and as such will not be thrown in at the deep end. They will be expected to learn Nige’s team methods, and then be blooded gradually, slowly building a strong young team for the future.
