Witton Albion Football Club are delighted to announce the following signings.
Luke Wall aged 22, a former Blackburn Rovers forward joins from National League North Curzon Ashton & the loan signing of 19 year old midfielder Connor Heath from Crewe Alexandra.
Both players are available for selection for Saturday’s trip to Bamber Bridge.
According to media reports Wall is a left winger not a striker, so the elusive striker is still required unless we are going to convert another midfielder to be a striker ? Not sure of Heaths best position but a midfielder for sure.
Definitely says on his profile and on Curzon Ashton’s website that Luke Wall is a striker - 5’11" tall.
Hope you are right but I have read several other reports to say he was a left winger !
He’s certainly wearing number 11 today but numbers mean nothing these days.
Neither does playing up front for Witton mean your a striker lol
