Witton make the relatively short trip to Newcastle Town on Saturday afternoon in a Northern Premier League West Division fixture.

The Staffordshire club currently sit in eleventh place in the table but have faired but have faired better on their travels than at home.

Four victories on the road but only one success at home with three defeats.

Witton will want to improve on a really disappointing performance at home to Trafford last weekend but will have to perform better in order to achieve the desired result.

Jon Macken has pulled off a massive coup in midweek with the signing of experienced full back Matt Lowton, and he will certainly add competition to the squad in the coming months ahead.

Kick off at Red Industries Stadium is 3pm.

Witton are next in action when we travel to Leek Town in a Northern Premier League West Division fixture on SATURDAY, 25th NOVEMBER with a 3pm kick off.

Well done to all, perfect way to respond after last week.

Well I wasn’t that close with team pick lol, they decided to shake things up after last week.

Ben injured out for a good few weeks, first half was completely forgettable as we played out a borefest 1 half chance per team.

Second half Newcastle started well very direct and deservedly took the lead cue expected lame defeat but after Pope went off injured and Koral came on upfront, we had a new threat PACE and clawed our way back into the game.

A nice header from Brazel from Roberts corner and game on! Kennerley onto left wing back added more pace and penetration and it worked well as he got free down the left, and put in a peach of a cross for Hughes to beat the defender for pace and place the ball home briliant.

It’s fair to say Newcastle tried to get back level with plent of long throws and high balls into the area but we held firm earned a nice win.

My mom Brazel who was everywhere. One footnote heard is that Rokka is on his way back to the Albs. UTA

Totally agree C.J., first half very scrappy a lot more positive second half two brilliant goals.

Matt Lowton looked good at right back, my MOM was also Brazel.

Shame we have no game for 2 weeks, hopefully our injuries will clear up for Leek game.
