Newcastle Town v. Witton Albion

Witton make the relatively short trip to Newcastle Town on Tuesday night looking to build on an excellent result at the weekend.

The Staffordshire club sit fifteenth in the table following some good results in recent weeks including three draws from the last five games.

Albion finally managed to get the league win they had been seeking and were helped by an excellent first half performance, that appeared to have taken the game away from Congleton Town.

The Bears rallied in the second half and certainly caused a few nervous moments amongst the Albion supporters, but two more goals gave the result a more comfortable look.

The game sees the return of Witton’s latest recruit midfielder Isaac Graham to his former home following his move last week to the U Lock It Stadium.

His debut certainly saw an accomplished performance and the Albion management team will be hoping for more of the same in the coming games,

Only two points separate the two teams going into the game so Witton will be looking to continue their climb away from the lower reaches but they can expect a tough test and will have to perform in order to achieve the desired result.

Kick off at The Red Industries Stadium is 7.45pm.

Well we’re off to watch to see if we can continue our improvement!

Not my favourite ground by a long way - no atmosphere at all with the velodrome around it. Team apart from injuries I wouldn’t expect much change to the 11 from Saturday, hopefully Koral and Dasilva are fit. UTA
