Does anyone know how long Harvey’s suspension is for and howling Gards will get for his red card is it only 1 game for a professional foul ? And is there any news on Sam Barnes and his injury what it is and when he might be back. Finally is it official that Sanna and Howard have left ?
Harvey got a 3 game ban think Gards might get the same for a straight red. Heard that Barnes tore his hamstring in training hoping to be back in a couple of weeks. According to Twitter howard has joined Nantwich.
Howard and Sanna leaving has apparently addressed the budget issues, and we’re back on track now.
So we can all start concentrating on football again rather than finances.
Well that’s some good news anyway re budget as you say Robbo we can at least focus on football and there’s still plenty to talk about. UTA
Bit harsh if Gards gets 3 games for that. Admittedly I didn’t have a great view but by the sounds of it s a professional foul, rather thanviolent conduct? IF so think its one game?
Money will always rear it’s ugly head again, it always does. (Bit like me!!)

I think from what I can find a red for professional foul only carries a one match ban maybe GE can help ? Also heard yesterday was Josh’s last game on loan ! Only hope we can extend it.
It really does beg the question why the heckers did we sign Sanna and Howard?? And why on earth was the budget issue played out in the public domain??
Perhaps it was one of the reasons why Pritch packed it in? Managers always want that bit more money that will make ALL the difference. Look how that has worked out at Old Trafford!! I hope we can now just get a settled side in place otherwise it is going to be a long season, just like last year.

I don’t think that would have been Brian’s reason at all, we hear the budget is straight now so we have to trust Sheehans ability and knowledge to juggle the team and to find a gem or two and get us hard to beat again, I guess we signed Sanna and Howard for experience that would help us a lot but maybe the reality was that they did not add that much and the new manager thinks he can do better with the money available so far not so good !
Sanna and Howard both arrived with terrific reputations, and Howard looked very good in pre-season. We lost Josh and Coops so they seemed like very adequate replacements at the time, with Sanna especially being viewed as an upgrade.
However, as CJ says, they haven’t really offered value for money.
The budget ‘over-spend’ was agreed between Mark and Pritch on the understanding that Pritch raised the shortfall - which he did whilst still at the club. This was covering the wages of at least 1 player who has since moved on.
I also believe that there was some other apparent nailed-on funding that didn’t materialise, meaning that we could no longer afford to carry on over-spending on the budget.
On your second point i 100% agree, and i feel that the whole budget discussion has been allowed to over-shadow the football over the last 10 days. This should have stayed in house, and if the budget had been cut after bowing out of the FA Cup then i’m sure nobody would have objected anyway.
Personally i am getting fed up of it being the major talking point on the terraces, and i’m only commenting here to try and end some of the speculation where i am able to do so.
It currently feels like the uncertainty around the club is creating an atmosphere of worry and concern about the future. We’re only in September, and if we were to win the next 3 or 4 games then the league table would look a lot different.
I personally am still fully behind Sheenz - you don’t go from being the right man to the wrong man int he space of 3 games - and feel he has conducted himself admirably during what must have been a nightmare start for him to his management career!
Hopefully the worst of it is over now.

Well said Robbo.

Agree fully Robbo we need to get behind Sheens and give him time to establish his style and players it won’t be a quick fix for sure.
