Next season

Not officially yet Eddie that will be I think the 15th May but it is looking almost certain with the way the promotion/relegations are going we are the furthest south out of them all, we have tried hard to get into the north but its now out of hands

The plus side is - if we can get a decent team onto the pitch - then the Southern league is probably the easiest to win.

Plus, although we will have a lot of travelling, other teams will have to travel a long way to come to us also.

Bugger!

I reckon the North div will be a really hard league to win next season. I went to the play off last night between Skem and Curzon which Curzon won, so Skem, who only missed out on promotion by 2 points, will still be there, your friends at FC Halifax have now appointed Neil Aspin as manager who was at Harrogate Town and seems to be a quality manager plus Leigh have now got an ambitious manager with financial backing and lots of contacts.

The travelling in the North section wont be easy either. If Newcastle Blue Star dont win the play off and Cammell win their appeal there will be trips to Newcastle and Whitby.

Anyway best of luck whatever happens!

8.50 a ticket??? I think that is absolutely unacceptable. The fans loyalty really is being tested.

Ah, another intelligent debate is about to start i see…

Would you rather pay £7 a game to watch losing football, or £8.50 in the hope that we’ll be pushing for promotion?

See my post elsewhere regarding trusting Neil to get the figures right.

we were told last year we had to keep it at £9 to ensure enough came in to put to budget to stay up. That worked out well.

Buy a Season Ticket and it works out at £7.50 a game.

" Would u rather pay £7 a game to watch losing football " quote’s Robbo.

They pay £7 at Belper and they are in the play-offs.

any one got time to do the unibond south table in miles from Wincham park, like the ave attendence one?

Unlike us, Belper have a financial backer.

But yes, buy a season ticket at £7.50 a game. Easy Peasy.

How come we’re going to Belper twice?

play-offs, come on Robbo get with it mate :stuck_out_tongue:

Looking forward to making the short trips from Cambridgeshire to Stamford and Lincoln already.

Wouldn’t they be coming to us?!

Just been told of a rumour going round that a club has gone bust and that Witton can stay in the league afterall…please tell me its true!!

Wonder what will happen to Marine, rumour is the players bet against themselves when they played Matlock and got thrashed, thats the reason Alvin was sacked allegedly. What a massive influence that could have had on the relegation dogfight. FA are investigating
