Next Season's Division One line-up ?

With Witton almost certainly just missing out on a promotion play-off spot at the end of the current season, is there any possibility (danger) of the Albion being bumped sideways back into Division One (South) for the 2011-2012 season?

Heaven forbid - but I think geographically we are the most southern club in the league ?

i believe 4 teams come down from the premier

  1. Stocksbridge Park Steels 36 8 2 8 5 4 9 13 6 17 62 64 -2 45
  2. Ashton United 36 8 0 10 5 5 8 13 5 18 47 54 -7 44
  3. Mickleover Sports 35 6 3 8 6 3 9 12 6 17 59 62 -3 42
  4. Whitby Town 35 6 5 6 5 4 9 11 9 15 46 61 -15 42
  5. Burscough 37 7 3 9 4 3 11 11 6 20 50 65 -15 39
  6. Hucknall Town 36 6 5 7 4 3 11 10 8 18 47 66 -19 38
    19. Nantwich Town 36 9 2 8 2 3 12 11 5 20 58 82 -24 38
  7. Frickley Athletic 35 5 7 6 4 3 10 9 10 16 37 56 -19 37
  8. Ossett Town 36 1 3 13 8 1 10 9 4 23 43 83 -40 31
  9. Retford United 38 2 2 15 3 0 16 5 2 31 31 99 -68 17

Retford (south) are down, ossett (north) virtually down, which would mean it would be good for witton if at least one from nantwich, hucknall and mickleover could join them.

I presume the winners of both the NWCL & the NECL will both be promoted if their grounds are good enough. farsley are winning the east and new mills look to have won the west

1 Farsley AFC 34 73 61 (probably north)
2 Parkgate 32 64 27
3 Bridlington 31 63 39
4 Lincoln M 34 58 33

1 New Mills 35 52 85 (not sure???)
2 Ramsbottom United 33 36 68
3 Winsford United 36 34 68
4 Barnoldswick Town 34 27 63

not forgetting our league has 23 teams at present, will it next season??
tbh could do with both nantwich and hucknall going down

F.A National League System Regulations.

Rule 4.2 : It may be necessary from time to time to move clubs laterally between leagues at the same step to accomodate the movement of clubs by normal promotion and relegation. WHERE THIS IS NECESSARY NO CLUB WILL BE ASKED TO MOVE MORE THAN ONCE IN EVERY THREE SEASONS.

As we were moved sideways 12 months ago, we can’t be moved sideways again for another two years.
Sorted.

I still believe the leagues should be east and west but that would make far too much sense for the FA to do anything about it.
