Witton take on Northwich Victoria on Easter Monday in an Evo-Stik Division One South fixture. The game has a lot riding on it with Witton still pushing to try and win the title and Northwich perilously close to relegation. Theoretically, it could be the last league encounter between the two clubs for quite a while. Witton will be looking to complete their “away” programme with another victory which in the process is likely to send their rivals down. Whether it’s the Play Offs or the title, it has been a monumental effort from the players and the management team this season of which they can be extremely proud. Witton will not want to lose this fixture, even if there wasn’t a big incentive resting on it because it means so much to both clubs and the people involved. Northwich despite having different reasons for needing to win the game, will be putting as much into it as Witton and it will then depend on the day. Albion are expected to win but things don’t always go as we think they might. It is likely to be tense for both clubs and who knows what will happen. Kick off at The NetDec Stadium is 3pm.
