CONGRATULATIONS to Owen Wynne, who has been voted Witton Albion’s Student of the Year!
Albion’s captain and top goalscorer, Owen made waves during his debut season in the Chryso division and was duly called up for the NPLFA Interleague Squad, who went head-to-head with Port Vale in April.
A common theme with all of our award winners, Owen’s dedication and commitment to both his football and education has made such outstanding attainment possible this year.
Attendance, as a fundamental building block for any success, has been demonstrated perfectly by Owen throughout the year; who has not missed a single education session. Owen has also made the maximum use of his time by attempting and achieving every distinction task, whilst exhibiting a refreshingly positive attitude towards his studies.
Owen will finish his first year of the Extended Diploma next week, in which he his still on course for a tremendous DDD*. Well done Owen - keep up the fantastic work!
