In regrds to use of the budget; i know that 2 of the management team (one of whom is also on the playing staff) have not been taking a wage out, with the view that this frees up more cash for player wages.
You are well informed Robbo - you must have inside knowledge of what is going on ?

I believe it is all about money, but not Wittons money.
I am not sure what business Oggie is in beside football, but I have heard that part of his business is done in China (the country, not the plates). His business needs attending to full time at the moment, hence why Pritch and Macca are acting as caretakers. How long this is for is anybodies guess.
Will the team be coming out against Curzon Ashton next saturday to the music of CHINA CRISIS then ?
Must say I find this a little confusing and dissapointing. I have heard that Oggie is taking nothing out of the pot which I think shows great commitment as is another member of the management team so it can’t be just about money!! I’m obviously right behind Pritch and Macca two lads I greatly admire but just hope that Oggie is still available for consultation and advice especially contacts in signing new players as Macca and Brian probably won’t have developed those skills yet it comes with experience.
As regards the playing side the only thing I’m dissapointed with is the break up of the Central Defensive partnership of Kearns and Ben H. Danny Adams is a great signing but can’t he play at right back to solve the problem there for us as I believe he made his name at Alty playing as a full back!!A back four of Adams Harrison Kearns and Doughty would be great methinks. Oggie has done well and we have a good team on a low budget. We’ve missed Macca, Maguire, Kinsey and Heler in recent weeks which has clouded the issue in the last couple of games and these are quality players. We also have Cal Botham, Matty Wood, Anton, and Frosty and I think the Stott-Kinsey Partnership is one of the best in this league provided they get the midfield service which they will off Macca, Maquire, Heler and Botham. Where we come unstuck is not having the strength in depth that other clubs have which being realistic you can’t expect on our budget.
I just hope that this thing with Oggie is temporary and he stays with us even if this is in an upstairs role.
I don’t want to upset the applecart here but I do notice Graham Heathcote every week in our club usually in a different tracksuit every week!! Tracksuit Manager well Graham certainly dresses the part and is a guy I respect football wise like our Oggie!!
Anyway as said elswhere lets get behind the Pritch and Macca partnership we know for sure any team these two field will have 100% committment and fight.

Whose gone and whose come in?
Not sure who has gone, but I spoke to Pritch last Thursday, and he mentioned that the management team had a remit to trim the squad in certain areas.
I noticed he had a signing-on form in his hand, and I quized him about this. He said he had signed-on a player that night, but did not want to make it public until all the paper work had been signed, sealed, and verified as several other clubs were also interested in this player. Watch this space!
