ONLINE TICKETING SERVICE.

We are very pleased to announce we have agreed a deal with Skiddle to become our official ticketing partner.

Skiddle are an award-winning company celebrating their 20th anniversary this year and provide ticket sales for major events such as Leeds & Reading festivals.

This deal will allow the Club to sell tickets online, allowing us to accept a wider range of payment methods and making it easier for supporters to purchase their tickets.

Supporters will still have the option of paying by cash at the turnstiles if they prefer to use that method.

Please note: On the day of the game admission will be by way of Cash payments at the turnstiles.

If you have purchased tickets online in advance - please have your email available at the turnstiles.

Witton Albion Football Club encourages supporters of both clubs (Home & Away), to purchase match tickets in advance online wherever possible as it cuts down on queues at the turnstiles and allows quicker access into the stadium.

It also offers the extended payment methods than cash only at the turnstiles.

Why does the online ticketing stop at midnight as a few floating fans( including my family members) don’t make a decision until Saturday mornings about attending games?

Just a real question not criticising anybody!

The answer I’ve got is that the Turnstile Operators want a printed list so, there wouldn’t be enough time if tickets were sold online on matchday.

It’s a great idea, and it’s nice to see the club taking a forward-thinking approach. However, with Skiddle charging a booking fee, I can’t see many utilising it? Wouldn’t mind paying the extra if it avoided a trip to the cash machine on the way to the ground, but you can’t buy online on a match day anyway.

If the club wants it to become the primary method of entry, allowing fans to purchase far closer to kick off probably needs to be looked at…

My understanding is that there are no booking fees.

50p is added on as a ‘RapidScan fee’. At least Skiddle aren’t charging the club!

How about utilising the social club to pay admission by card before the game? If this option was available it may encourage more people to use the social club.

After receiving feedback from supporters, the online ticket service has been extended.

Starting with Tuesday’s home game against Atherton Collieries, Online Sales will now be available until 3pm on TUESDAY, 26th OCTOBER and NOT midnight on the previous day.

Online Sales for our Buildbase FA Challenge Trophy game against Lancaster City, will be available until mid day on SATURDAY, 30th OCTOBER.
