It seems that many supporters expect the club to continually move forward by being promoted every year. With our financial position maintaining our place in the non league pyramid should be our first aim then moving forward when we can realistically afford it. Our present team looks to be useful and I expect us,to be in the mix for the play offs but several others seem to think we can just find money from thin air, buy some great players and win the league. A bit of realism please.

You miss the point WHS , we have a lot of wages tied up in players who are not contributing Newby, Evans, Noone, for the example, so maybe move them on when possible and try to bring in players who can improve us in areas we need most, I know you need a squad but previously we have younger players on the bench/ squad who cost less but can be developed. So no not unrealistic just smarter with the same money and I don’t particularly want promotion but to be as strong as we can in this league within budget.
Good points CJ but many others as being unrealistic. But moving on player and getting younger, better ones is not that easy at any level.
