PHIL DORAN - To Rhyl?

I’d heard about this possibility but thought they’d initially made an illegal approach.

Thought he, at least, tried on Saturday.

As I suspected, hence the ?, Doran was still a Witton registered player. In fact he was down on the original teamsheet at 2pm to play at No 3 this afternoon.

However, following an alleged altercation he decided to leave the ground altogether thus meaning Callum Tai-Hogan was moved up from the sub’s bench.

I would imagine therefore that this is the last we see of the player however Rhyl’s initial illegal approach needs to be brought to the respective F.A.'s attention.

Needs to come to the attention of the F.A if it is an illeagle approach.

I hope I have heard wrong, but someone told me there are serious problems in our dressing room with some of the players and our manager. Please tell me this is not the case.

Phil who ?

Anything happening about this? Or is it same old Witton roll over and tickle our belly and we won’t make a fuss?

It should be noted that Rhyl sold a player at more or less the same time to Charlton, they should imo be made to pay for Doran, and/or be reported to the FA’s for an illegal approach.

Doran was a non contract player so there is no fee to be paid. A letter has gone to the FA stating that he came to the board asking for more money as Rhyl had offered him a better deal this conversation took place the day before we received 7 days notice for him. In Rhyls defence they say they didn’t approach him, he approached them. So no we are not ‘rolling over’ but its in the hands of the FA to make a decision.

Glad to hear it, good man Picko - it should be noted that they announced the signing of Doran on their website before the 7 day approach, and definitely had a destabilising affect on the team when he walked out.
