Physio or First Aider Wanted

Witton Albion Director of Football Development & Development Squad Manager - John Salmon, is looking for someone to take on the role of Physiotherapist or First Aider at Development Squad Matches.

Since the Development Squad’s inception, John has had to take on virtually every aspect of the job single-handed but has now managed to assemble the beginnings of a support team, after acquiring the services of an assistant in Tony Ennion - who had a previous spell at the club as Reserve Team Manager.

Another new addition to the Development set-up is Rachel Draysey, who joins as Secretary and will be undertaking the administration duties.

On a separate note, John Salmon is really looking to supporters to come along to the matches and support the players. There are already players, who John feels could be pushing towards the First Team Squad in the not too distant future. This is already apparent as central defender Mark Bainbridge has been involved in the squad on a number of occasions this season. John’s main aim for the Development Squad is to provide players for the First Team in the future, results are secondary.

So far, John has part-funded this venture out of his own pocket but that can only go on for so long. The Development Squad are being charged for using the facilities at Barnton so as well as supporting the players, any assistance is very much appreciated.
