Young Louis bently performed well up front, but along with Alex Dunne had little service from the midfield throughout.

Witton had few chances and it was the home side who opened the scoring on 22 minutes following a weak header back to the keeper from defence.

Pilks had opportunities to extend their lead and Matty Knowles saved well on a few occaissions.
The second half brought more of the same, Witton unable to get on top and frustration from the young team making matters worse. Speculative shots from Dunne and bently were the best of the chances.

2 goals late on in the game sealed the victory for Pilks and highlighted that although this young side have gone a long way they have much to learn.

Next game at home v Poynton 21 Jan 2.15pm KO.
