Update from Scott Dundas.

Jonathan Beaumont
Jon has left to join Leek Town FC.
With his work commitments and the distances he travels he was finding it difficult to attend matches and training.
Scott said ‘Jon will be a big loss to the squad especially in the coming months when we will need to dig in to get results. The Witton supporters did not see the best of him but we wish him well at his new club’.

Dominic Marie.
Dominic has gone back to Bootle to get some game time and continue with his fitness he will also be able to play for the development squad as and when they have a fixture.

Andy O’Connor 1st Team Coach.
Andy decided after Saturday’s game to step down from his role has 1st team coach due to personal reasons. Everybody at the club would like to wish him well in whatever he does moving forward.
Scott said ‘If anybody took the time to speak with Andy you would agree what a true gent he is. Unfortunately things haven’t gone the way we wanted them to, Andy is a top bloke and a great coach and I would personally like to thank him for all he tried to do for me during his time with the club.

Three players have left the football club.

Niall Green, Kyle Diskin and Ben Mills have all departed.

Witton Albion Football Club would like to thank them for their time with us and wish them well for the future.

What’s happened to Cropper? He doesn’t appear to be in the squad

Any news when the new manager is going to be appointed?

No other news at present regarding players or the appointment of a new manager.

I’ve heard rumours that our keeper is stirring up interest. I hope it’s just a rumour

Of course there is interest, he is a fine goalkeeper but I think he is on contract so he can only go if we let him.
