I thought Jim had registered with us and was keen to play for the Albs this season? Bit of a blow really we’re going to miss his experience. Hope no one else who had registered suddenly changes their mind too, we’re getting too close to the start of the season and need a bit of stability and continuity.
I thought he was staying but probably had a better offer closer to home, was a good player but replaeable imo. UTA
Apparently, Hanley Town put seven days notice in for him and he decided to accept their offer.
Nothing Witton could do as he wasn’t contracted to us.

I don’t know but I’d be very surprised if that was the case.
I wouldn’t think a contract is a good idea at this level RobertD. The cons outweigh the pro’s imo
