Witton Albion Football Club are pleased to announce the double signings of forwards James Steele and Lewis Crane from Runcorn Linnets.
James is a former Widnes player who scored 35 in 84 games including 17 in their title-winning season in 2024/25. Joined Prescot Cables, scoring five goals in eight games before signing for Linnets.
Lewis Crane is a 19 year old forward who has come through the U21’s at Linnets where he netted 28 goals in 24 appearances and scored four goals for the first team, including a hat-trick against Bury in the FA Trophy. He has also featured for Ashton Town.
Lewis has Witton connections in his family as his dad Peter was a midfielder for the Albion. Also his uncle is Albion legend Mike Moseley and cousin Adam Moseley.
Witton Albion Football Club are pleased to announce that goalkeeper Cameron Terry has signed a contract and will remain at the U Lock It Stadium for the 2026/27 season.

Witton Albion Football Club are pleased to announce the signing of 23 year old midfielder Ollie McDonough from Winsford United.
Ollie made 37 appearances for Winsford last season, scoring four goals.
I might be wrong but I seem to remember him playing for Witton Albion Academy as a teenager around the same time as Owen Wynne.
