Goalkeeper Chris Renshaw is joining National League side FC Halifax Town on a month’s loan. We wish him well.

A good move for Chris, he will gain experience which at 21 years old in my opinion was the only thing stopping him being the best keeper in the league.

Fantastic keeper, I hope we can keep him at Witton but he is young and the best in the league and so he deserves a chance to be full tme UTA

The Shaymen are in action tonight at Barnet and Chris was named amongst the substitutes.

Chris Renshaw was again named amongst the substitutes as the Shaymen shocked National League leaders Torquay United 3-2 in Devon.

A player perhaps unfamiliar to some Witton fans had a major part to play in the game as, midfielder Jeff King (2 goals in 8 appearances for the Albion in 2016) was involved in both of Torquay’s goals conceding penalties on both occasions and then scored the winner two minutes from time.

Jeff is the nephew of Johnny King, had some clubs since he left us !

Chris Renshaw is named amongst the substitutes again tonight for FC Halifax Town’s National League game at home to Hartlepool United.

Still no FC Halifax Town debut for Chris Renshaw as he is once again named on the bench for the Shaymen’s trip to Wealdstone this afternoon.

Chris Renshaw retains his place on the bench for FC Halifax Town’s National League game at Notts County tonight.

Aldershot Town are FC Halifax Town’s visitors in the National League tonight and Chris Renshaw is named amongst the substitutes once again.

I make that six games unbeaten for Halifax. They may decide to keep Chris as a lucky mascot!.

Chris Renshaw was named amongst the substitutes once again as FC Halifax Town’s recent good run came to an end with a 1-0 defeat at Eastleigh on Saturday afternoon.

UPDATE

Chris Renshaw’s loan spell at FC Halifax Town has been extended for a second month.

Chris Renshaw is named amongst the substitutes once again as FC Halifax Town take on National League leaders Sutton United at The Shay this afternoon.

Chris will be getting splinters at this rate!

Still, it’s useful experience for the lad, I suppose, of football at National League level.

No change as yet as Chris Renshaw warms the bench again for FC Halifax Town’s National League home game against Weymouth.

Chris Renshaw remains on the bench for FC Halifax Town’s National League game at Altrincham this afternoon.

Chris Renshaw is not included in the FC Halifax Town squad for tonight’s home game with Wrexham.
