Just a reminder that Saturday is the “Witton Albion Player of the Season” Awards night, its a 7.30 for 8ish start, its FREE entry and there may even be a few FREE Butties, Our very own Wittons got Talent,“Amp and Dick” will be hosting the Event which promises to be something different, Matt the Cat even mentioned it may be time for another streak :woohoo: so come on down! B)
Just to bring this topic up to the top.
We took 600 supporters to Curzon last year and we have over 300 supporters at our home games, it would be great if as many people as are able got to this event (even if its just for an hour or so) to show your appreciation and support for the Chairman and management team and players for their excellent achievements on our behalf this season and last.
Witton is YOUR club, its one that we should all be proud of, so come along swell the numbers, support the bar (which for those of you who don’t know is now back in the clubs control).

Michael Percival What a fantastic night
A great night down the club, well done to those who organised it.
Shaun Tuck has got to be the most energetic drunk I’ve ever seen. Him and Gards even slept on the sofas in the club!
A truly amazing awards night, the likes of which have never been seen at Wincham Park, i could only described it as “Wittons got talent” meets “Pheonix Nights” hosted by our very own Amp and Dick! thoroughly entertaining from start to finish.
Who won what has been posted previously but i must mention Micheal Powells “Look what we could have won” inflatable “Doodson Cup” presentation along with his Diary and name badge, Stu Plants tray of geraniums for Best newcomer and Josh’s re-enactment of his Goal away at Stocksbridge including inflatable goal nets,ball, pitch , celebrity blow up dolls and Gazzer in goals was hilarious!
A very big thanks to all who attended especially our very own Witton Albion Netball Girls!, and thanks to all those who made it happen, Mike,Trev,Superstar DJ Matt the Cat Arnold,Sharon,Sue,Kerry,Sam and Andy, and to the Witton Albion Players who have yet again showed us what a talented bunch (Not on the dancefloor unfortunately apart from Tucker!) they are at reaching play offs, the best of luck boys,whatever the seasons outcome you are a credit to this club and we are proud of you UTA!
