Player of the Season

Who would your player of the season be ?

Pritch, Broadhead, Maylett, Foster, Henry, Heler…

Can’t think of anybody else who would be in the reckoning really?

2 fosters?

No, why?

 lol

I would have gone joe clegg until he decided to take up weight lifting (how random was that?). I agree Ryan has played very well since signing and also henry but it’s gotta be pritch everytime.

Agree with Robbo’s list and probably in that order too!

It just shows the impact Ryan has made if he is being linked to this award. He does make his game look easy, but good players always give this impression.Personally,i think it is a close call between Brad and Peter, two very classy footballers.

I have my nominations for goal of the season and they are as they say in a sealed envelope.

I think Heler had an excellent month or so just before xmas. Other than that he has fluctuated between average and just below average.

Fozzie’s goals make him a contender.

What for an ASBO ?

I’d be surprised if some of our squad could even spell ASBO.

:woohoo:

I didnt think there was in question in it
Its got be Broadhead gives his all every game plays brilliantly in two different positions who else can you say has done that

Pritch.

Had a great game in goal at Carlton!!

Robbo, the only reason you can spell ASBO is because you’ve got enough of them to wallpaper your bedroom… :stuck_out_tongue:

Hang on let me grab my hoody…innit.

with not being able to get to a match this season with no transport, from what i,ve seen on the forum my player/s of the season would be Mike Moseley,Brian Pritch

Ryan Broadhead has been a real asset, but not played in enough games to be player of the season for me. Pritch, Brad Maylett or Jamie Tandy in contention in my book!

I think Broadhead has made much more of a contribution than Tandy?

Unfortunately, Ryan has gone back to the scum. I am gutted, but I spoke to him last night, and I understand his reasons.

Hopefully, they treat him as bad as the last time he was there, and he comes back to us for his jelly babies (for those who didn’t know, Ryan was on a goal bonus of a bag of jelly babies per goal).

Also heard rumours that Steve Foster has gone to Salford City.

Never mind, not like either of them was important - just the best midfielder (since Dave MacPherson) and club’s top goalscorer!

I am sure that Gary will have a host of other young local players lined up to come in after Ryan.

Foster will have gone for cash, you know what you get with him. In fairness he did a good job whilst he was here and is a good striker.

You can’t blame Ryan for wanting to play at a higher level (not that V*** are likely to be there for that long after the world’s longest running administration). I doubt Ryan will be the success the other side the canal that he has been at our level, but wish him well. His performances have been first class this season and sorry to see him go.
