A trip to Vauxhall Motors on TUESDAY, 19th JULY with a 7.30pm kick off and a home game against Welsh opposition in the form of Flint Town United, at the U Lock It Stadium on TUESDAY, 2nd AUGUST with a 7.45pm kick off.

We will travel to Welsh Premier League Bala Town on SATURDAY, 30th JULY - kick off to be confirmed.
On TUESDAY, 2nd AUGUST we will now host Atherton Collieries with a 7.45pm kick off. This fixture replaces the original home game against Flint Town United which will now not take place.

Admission Prices for the opening pre season friendly at Barnton AFC on SATURDAY, 9th JULY are as follows:
Adults: £5, Concessions: £3, Under 16’s: Admitted FREE.
FREE Parking is available at the Library and the School on Townfield Lane within a few hundred yards of the stadium.
Additional parking is available at the Memorial Hall next to the stadium. Please note: There is a ÂŁ2 charge for parking.
Tuesday’s pre season friendly at Vauxhall Motors has been cancelled due to the extreme weather conditions.
Will be see something close to our starting eleven against Vics on Saturday or are we still running the rule over plenty of potential trialists.
Witton are back at the U Lock It Stadium on Tuesday night when we welcome Northern Premier League Premier Division Marine AFC in our latest pre season friendly with a 7.45pm kick off.
Unfortunately, tonight’s pre season friendly against Marine AFC has been cancelled.
This Saturday, 30th July our fixture list has Witton travelling to Welsh Premier League Bala Town. There is no mention of this fixture on the Lakesiders website. However, the fixture is still listed on the Northern Premier League website.
We need to confirm whether this game is going ahead or not in order to prevent our supporters any unnecessary travelling.
Unfortunately, our pre season friendly at Bala Town on Saturday has now been cancelled due to the need to protect players carrying slight injuries.
Witton are due to complete their pre season campaign with a home game against Atherton Collieries on Tuesday, 2nd August with a 7.45pm kick off.
Starting to worry a bit that we could be a bit undercooked in our preseason preparations with the Bala game now postponed. I totally get that we need to protect against injury niggles, but aren’t we going to be faced with the same once the season starts? Be happier seeing a few more announcements of player signings
We have announced four signings in the last two days so that will help to bolster the squad.
My main concern is that we are due to play our last pre season friendly on Tuesday night against Atherton Collieries and unless there are plans to arrange another game, we face almost two weeks without a game as our season doesn’t start until August 13th.
I would imagine with Jon’s contacts there must be other clubs who are looking for a game too? Only Step 5 and early FA Cup entrants start earlier than us.
Four new signings is indeed great news - but it WOULD be better if they could all play together in a pre-season friendly rather than go into our first competitive match “cold”…
